Planet Tatooine (Outer Rim)
The Alliance has sent their newest members: a bounty hunter, a mercenary, a Bothan native, and a laconic scout, on a mission to Tatooine in search of a man named Adar Tallon.
Clad, a human bounty hunter, had joined the other three on Yavin 4.
Information regarding Adar Tallon was discovered on a data pad by a Rebel spy who infiltrated an Imperial star destroyer.
A hero of the Old Republic, Adar Tallon is now rumored to be alive and possibly living on the desert world of Tatooine. The Alliance had long considered Tallon dead, especially when news of Tallon’s patrol craft, Battalion, was obliterated in the Dalchon system decades before.
The Alliance has also received information that scores of bounty hunters have answered the call sent out by Captain Parlan, commander of the Imperial star destroyer, Relentless.
The Corellian Dawn, a Corellian stock light freighter acquired by the Alliance, landed in Docking Bay 94 not long after Second Dawn (when Tatoo II rises).
The four Rebel agents entered the dusty and alien-packed streets of Mos Eisley Spaceport hoping to find clues that could lead them to Adar Tallon.
In need of some supplies, the four came upon a general store owned by two human couples named Tar Lup and his wife, Kai. While in the store, a couple of Gamorian thugs sent by Jabba the Hutt arrived to collect protection money from the Tar and Kai.
The four Rebels asked the two thugs to leave the store owners alone.
A gun battle ensued.
When the blaster smoke cleared, both thugs were dead. Tar and Kai were grateful for their rescue from the thugs, but they now feared for the safety of the four who have certainly earned the wrath of Jabba the Hutt, one of the galaxy’s most notorious crime boss.
After disposing of the bodies, the four Rebels left the store to make their way to Chalmun’s Cantina, also known as the Mos Eisley Cantina by locals and travelers alike. Tar and Kai told the four they should be able to find information regarding the whereabout of Adar Tallon at the cantina.
